Most of you have seen this statue before in museums and other cathedrals and churches. But I thought it just looked so beautiful under this lighting, and with this background. I took several photos of it from different angles and this one is my favorite. I may not be a Christian, but I respect and appreciate some of the art inspired by their beliefs.
I did some minor retouching and added the frame. I'm trying to get used to my new camera, it's a little more complicated than my littlle Nikon hehe. The statue is inside the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, NYC. Camera: Kodak Easyshare DX6490 |
